This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Robert Griffith Jr who was born in United States on February 10, 1950 and passed away on December 3, 1980. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

      Robert Griffith Jr. was my Cousin, he was a wonderful loving and caring man and an incredible musician, he played the drums in a band called SOUP with David Faas and Doug Yankus. I didn't get to know him very well because he died young and was taken from us to soon, he was only 29. Now 31 years after his death theres a whole new generation of kids who are finding out about SOUP and they love the music and they already put the album SOUP on cd's and its selling. I really miss Rob he was a great guy, I really wanted to get to know him better but I didn't get the chance because he was taken too soon, I think about him all the time, I have all the albums by SOUP and even the 45 when they were The Bloo Phase in the very begining. Rest in peace Rob I love you and I miss you.
